This site required a solution to allow the owner to both live comfortably and work effectively on the site. An existing industrial building to the rear of the site was added to at the front with a classically designed country-urban style building. The first floor is the owners flat, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and open planned living areas opening onto elevated verandahs to the north and west. Downstairs three shops allow the owner to lease out two spaces and utilise the third for his own business, opening out to and incorporating the industrial unit behind.
