This design was developed with a local builder who wanted to offer customers that came directly to him an architect-created design that had a Bowral/Southern Highlands look, but with clean, contemporary detailing. This design reflects the observation that older homes have one major contrast to new ones- the big garage doors right up front! Here the garage was placed internally, accessed by a right angle turn in from the driveway, that hides the garage door. A clever solution. (click thumbnail for full-size image)
