This sweet cottage simply needed to be made bigger, while retaining its charming character. Two extensions were added to the north: a large sunroom off the kitchen and a master bedroom with ensuite with a cosy north-facing grassy courtyard in between. The owner sourced a beautiful leadlight bay window that was incorporated into the front façade of the new master bedroom. Where possible, other windows were salvaged from the removed walls and re-installed. Along with a new carport on the south side and a study extension on the west, the result is a cottage that appears to have always been as it is today, with the old and new seamlessly integrated.
