This home was a mud brick owner built cottage sitting in a clearing in the Bundanoon bush. It was far too small and had some odd quirks that needed repairing. The mud brick was going to be difficult to replicate, so we designed two new pavilions to sit on either side of the existing. One houses the garage and a studio, and the other a new guest bedroom and a master bedroom suite comprising a bedroom, ensuite and walk-in-robe. New decks, verandahs and terraces link the new pavilions into an ordered whole. Some internal renovations in the existing cottage finished the project. (click thumbnail for full-size image)
