This 1970s home was dated and tired. The long face brick box with brown trim needed updating desperately. The owners’ father was coming to live with them and so the addition of a self-contained flat on the end allowed the creation of a wing perpendicular to the existing house to relieve the long lines of the house. A fresh new steel roof, render and paint on the brick walls and some internal reconfiguring has transformed the house. (click thumbnail for full-size image)
