A traditional weatherboard homestead, the U-shaped plan turns the bottom of the ‘U’ to the view and the sun to the north. The legs of the ‘U’ embrace the entry with a traditionally designed verandah. The northern façade steps back from the central kitchen, extending out with a covered eating deck. The decks step to each side along the north side, united by a long, curving shape.
